Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals look like a team with clear fantasy starters and a few moving parts, led by a much more intriguing backfield than they had a year ago. The biggest headline is rookie RB Jeremiah Love, who is being projected for a large workload and strong RB2-to-RB1 upside, while Tyler Allgeier still has enough role to matter, especially near the goal line.

At quarterback, the picture is much less exciting, with Jacoby Brissett currently viewed as the starter in fantasy previews and only a fringe QB2 for most formats. That makes the passing game more about selective targets than weekly volume, but it also means the offense can still support a few useful weapons if efficiency is decent.

Tight end Trey McBride remains the safest and most valuable pass-catching piece in the offense, and the Cardinals’ fantasy previews continue to treat him as a top-tier option. The wide receiver room has more volatility, so Marvin Harrison Jr. and the other receivers are better treated as upside plays than automatic anchors, especially with the team’s touchdown distribution expected to skew more toward the run.

Health will matter a lot for this roster in late August, because several players are still dealing with issues that could affect early-season value. James Conner is not yet doing full-team drills as he works back from a foot injury, Trey Benson has not advanced to full 11-on-11 work in camp, Garrett Williams and Tip Reiman are on PUP, and rookie DT Kaleb Proctor is expected to miss the entire season, which underscores how unsettled the depth chart still is. In fantasy drafts, that makes Love, McBride, and the top wideouts the main targets, while Conner is more of a wait-and-see pick until his practice status clears up.
